After telling me we were going to Scottsdale, Arizona, but then tricking me and taking me to Paris, we had five days to spend in this magical city. Pictures and videos coming soon. 🙂 xo

Day 1

Monday, April 20th

We arrived in Paris mid morning and decided to start exploring the city. We walked from the hotel to the Fontaine de l’Observatoire and the Obelisk at the Place de la Concorde. We then headed up the Champs Elysees towards the Arc de Triumph. That street is SO pretty! Next, we walked over to the Eiffel Tower. Literally right as we got close to it, the lights started to sparkle! It was magical.

Day 2

Tuesday, April 21st

The Louvre, the gardens, ice cream, Pont Neuf, Isle de la Cite, Notre Dame.

Day 3

Wednesday, April 22nd

The Louvre, Sacre Cour, dinner in Montemarte.

Day 4

Thursday, April 23rd

on Thursday, we headed to the Eiffle Tower to see it during the day and go up to the top. We walked up as high as they would let us, and then we took the elevator the rest of the way.

It was amazing to see the city from up high. Afterwards, we walked over to the Rodin Museum and then took a cab home.

When we got back to the hotel, Jason had to go grab some cash from the ATM for the cab driver. He had me go inside so that I could relax. About ten minutes later, the hotel phone rang. It was Jason. He told me he was having issues with the cab driver and that the ATM machine at his card. I rushed downstairs only to find a driver and a car waiting for me, but no Jason. Jason had the driver take me to a fancy couture dress shop to pick out an outfit. The driver then took me to the Isle de la Cite, an island in the middle of the Seine River. Jason was there in a suit waiting for me. He got down on one knee and proposed. And… I said yes. 🙂

Here is the full story of our engagement with all the details. 🙂

After taking some pictures, we celebrated by going on a fancy dinner cruise along the Seine. After that, we went on a long midnight walk around the city and just soaked it all in. I laughed as Jason told me the ‘behind the scenes’ stories that he’d kept hidden before he proposed: how the ring got lost in the mail, how he asked my Dad for my hand, etc.

Day 5

Friday, April 24th

Friday morning, we got up early, caught the Roissybus to the airport and flew home.

Pictures and videos coming soon!
